Level 1 Core Supervisory Skills
This is available as an online training course or as a workshop.
Option 1: Online Training Course
This is available as an online training course, aimed primarily at new supervisors, and is split into four modules, covering:
- T&C Requirements for regulated firms
- Consistent and accurate assessment skills
- Theory of coaching and training
- Monitoring performance.

Option 2: Workshop
Level 1 Core Supervisory Skills workshop (1 day)
We can run dedicated in-house workshops for firms if there are sufficient numbers, or potentially for a group of firms.
Similarly aimed at new supervisors, the course will expand a little on the online version, and will cover the following aspects:
- Overview of general T&C requirements on regulated firms
- Setting customer facing sales process standards
- Consistent and accurate assessment skills
- Theory of coaching and training
- Training Needs Analysis completion
- Constructing SMARTA development plans
- Structuring one to ones
- Monitoring performance

Level 2 Advanced Supervisory Skills workshop (1/2 days)
This workshop is aimed at existing supervisors who wish to take their skills to the next level. This practical workshop covers the following aspects.
- Regulatory background
- What makes an effective people manager?
- Situational leadership -a practical technique for managing performance
- Effective communication – listening and question skills
- Developing people – coaching, observation and feedback skills
- Managing Performance and running effective 1:1 meetings
